Positive: The location was beautiful. The rooms were super clean and Milo was so kind and helpful with everything. He helped with the lake skadar boat tour. The breakfast was delicious and overall, the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend Lake Valley.

Positive: Gorgeous location looking out to the hills. The owner was great and couldn’t do more to help us out with local recommendations! The individual chalets were perfect and had everything we needed. The pool was a lovely bonus!

Negative: The only shame was that because of shoulder season we couldn’t eat in!

Positive: Lake Valley is just perfect & Milo is such a kind host! Definitely the best place we’ve stayed at in Montenegro. The town of Virpazar is a 15-20 minute foot walk away with lots of restaurants to choose from.

Positive: Calm location outside the tourist center of Virpazar with mountain view from the pool. Reasonable size of the pool. Good (not superior) quality of breakfast options. Host is friendly and provided restaurant and kayaking recommendations. (We did not opt for the recommended kayak provider though because other guests had informed us they found a boat trip costing only 1/3 of the trip recommended by the property.)

Negative: Apartment not very clean: Hair of previous guests in the sink. During a stay of only 2 nights, we removed over 20 wood louses and a millipede from the apartment. But most annoying was that when we mentioned that to the owner and his wife, she claimed they never experienced this issue before, and it was our fault (oh, really?) while he stated they regularly spray the apartment (why would they do so if there was no issue ...). The metal bed should be fixed (or is of poor quality): Whenever one person moves, the other wakes up. Again, then notified, the hosts blamed someone else (in this case: "There was a family in the apartment before you. The kids must have jumped on the bed.") Other guests told us they had the same issue on one of the other apartments and actually even changed apartments because of that. Accommodation and breakfast options overpriced for quality and local standards. Of six accommodations throughout Montenegro (including more touristy areas) this was the worst value for money. Same quality of breakfast often only cost 50% - 70% of the prices at Lake Valley.

Positive: It's exactly how it looks on the pictures. Spotlessly clean. 15m walk into Virpazar (but unlit) - perfect if heading in for a boat cruise. Milo was absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. His enthusiasm is so infectious. He really makes this place click. He really couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. The setting is beautiful. You could just stop by the pool all day.

Negative: There really are no negatives.

Positive: The property is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The pool was great, especially during a warm afternoon. It is a mile walk from town but for us that was fine as we were able to escape the busyness of Virpazar and just relax.

Negative: I don’t consider it a mark against Lake Valley, but this is a mile walk from town on a somewhat narrow road. It was perfectly fine for an adult couple that didn’t want to be right in the center, but if you have children maybe not the best option. But otherwise I can’t think of anything I didn’t like!

Summary: Beautiful accommodations right outside of Virpazar. Loved our stay!

Positive: The location and room was so beautiful. Milo was very supportive through flight delays and arrival in the middle of the night making sure our room was ready and sending video instructions for our arrival. The location is beautiful and so peaceful, exactly what we needed before travelling to busy kotor. I don’t have a bad thing to say about this amazing apartment. I just wished we stayed longer
